Blogging in Boston

I've been in Boston 42 days, after having lived in London for a year and in Beirut for 20.  Despite the overabundance of Lebanese people and the very English architecture, Boston is far from both my cities.   I am a newbie, so I can't say I really know Boston, but from what I've seen so far: it's a cute fusion of East-coast America and rural London.
As the new girl in a new city in the new year, I decided to finally go ahead with this idea that's continuously pre-occupied me: I'm starting a blog. A fashion blog (yes, another one to add to the hundreds out there). I'm not expecting Leandra Medine fame, nor am I expecting to be invited to all/any fashion week shows (but Alexander Wang if you're reading this, an invite would be awesome).
So after years of contemplation, I decide that in the city where the temperature doesn't seem to rise above -8 °C (around 17°F), I am going to start sharing all my random fashion thoughts with the world (or more likely my one-person fan base - hi Mom).
The Boston fashion scene (so far) seems to be a little lacking. It's difficult to find any glaringly on-point outfits (understandable with this weather - Uggs are really not fashion). I haven't really struck gold with any Boston-based fashion blog (there are a couple of cute blogs: LauraKaraAllieJessye). It may be my googling skills aren't as impressive as I thought they were (but actually that's not it because my search skills are impeccable; I work in the field of neuroscientific research). It may also be my high European fashion standards... But I haven't found my ideal blog in Boston, so I figured I'd make my own.
